Looking to the alnd from above you could barely see it, a path winding and twisting as if racing the wind. It twisted around splotches of red over many a log. If you followed the path one direction it would go on for what would seem to enbe forever on the over, a being as dark as night. Her coat shown a suddle black and in true twillight one could see she was not black but red. Her coata mix, like a fox, it held two layers a top coat of the darkest black, the underneath a red but no normal read. It was the red of blood and death, of dissapearances and all things dark. Her name did not come from t for at birth she had been normal a black horse to fit her black souled family, but as years passed it changed growing red and hick.
Now, god knows were, she was looking for someone or something differnt for miles the parced grass stretched with red flowers scattered. SHe had chased the wind this far and now she needed rest, nibling a the rough grass her lungs drank in oxygen refreshing her. As a gentle wind puched against her she sighed, though she loved the open praire she knew she would die if she did not find water soon. Looking up she gazed around one last time searching with sullen gray eyes.
That was another oddity of hers, her face did not have a normal looking eye but those of the ddest color. A gray no more an ice that pierced a soul and told of ghosts.

B O N F I R E It seemed as if the heavens were crying. Large, crystal raindrops fell heavily onto the earth, so heavily in fact, the thick blades of grass were drooping with the impact. The melodic twitters of birds no longer refreshed the colorful realm, but yet the heavy drumming of rain echoed beyond.
The large, Mascu stood silently underneath a sad little tree, barely being sheltered from the now pouring rain. His usual fiery coat and plume, were now soaked to a dark browny orange tint. But fortunately, the dark, forlornness of the day didn't seem to have much of an effect on his personality, as his deep maple orbs shone bright with glee.
The Lord slowly raised his well designed dial, his piercing gaze drifting to beyond the thin branches. He was looking deep into the sky, wincing every few moments when the rain dropped near his eyes. The clouds sported a dull slate grey, but they did have a beautiful looking texture. As he began to get bored gazing at the lifeless clouds, his optics swiveled to catch the beyond horizon. The rain seemed to be breaking up, giving the world an angelic like glow. A pang of envy shot through his body, he was stuck with the annoyance of rain, while others may be having a wonderful time dancing and frolicking under the magnificently colored array of clouds. He moved his dial to gaze at his flints once again, smiling a bit when the tiny drops of rain slid off his mane. As he thought about rain some more, his opinion changed. He was glad rain was here, as it would caress more beauty into his lands.
But his thoughts were disrupted as he caught an unfamiliar scent up his nares. The Lords crest rose, his posture became stiff. He carefully strode out from his little tree, only to see the fine silhouette of a mare. Even if she couldn't cause much harm, he was still watching every move she would make.
The Mascu strode closer, his chiseled muscles flexing with every movement. He halted a few feet away, his orbs at work taking in every part of her bodice, and storing it away in his deep, deep memory. His expression was stern, giving no love to an unexpected, or, uninvited equine. The brute shifted his weight, cocking his back flint up in a comfortable position, feeling he might be staying there for quite some time. He began to piece words together in his mind, creating a fine sentence of welcome
And you are?

She felt the drops slow from eher place in the trees but decided not to leave as of yet. Breathing deep she smelled her faviorite smell, spring. It was a cleansing smell after all the blood and death, wich though she loved, became heavy on her sensitve nose and on her pallete.
Spring was a time of refreshing and that was what she would do with her life, regrow it, replant it in this knew soil. HSe knnew thre must be toher equines here though she saw no others she had come across signs. Old hoof prints, short cropped grass, lingering scents and she swore she had seen a group in thedistance once. But only the slightest glance.
tAking a step from her coverage she saw the quick storm rolling away and somethngodd, a moving being. Paying more attention she watched it, it was to far away to say but she could almost swear it was an equine.
Taking another deep breath she sorted the scents on the loving wind more carefully. Spring earth and dampness most definately, but there was something else something she had been looking for for a long time. THe smell of a beast, a stallion a leader. And now she had found one hopefully he would be worthy a soul like hers, if not she would find another it was not as if she was old or anything like that. SHe was young and free as the birds gliding through the sky her soul she knew would always be with them a wandering thing. Breaking hearts with her beauty.
As she saw the being come closer his deep red coat cought her eyes a fire like coulor. And as his voice reched her ears she replied her voice loud and strong, "I am Raven and who are you?" she knew her words like her own name she had said them to many though this one may be intersting.

B O N F I R E The Mascu took a large exhale, the rain began to cease. Now, his world was covered in fine crystal drops. They looked like something out of a fairy tale; almost as if small fairies sprinkled the drops over the land, giving their beauty to everyone to admire.
When the Fae began to speak, the Lords finely tuned audits swiveled towards her, catching her strong lyrics. As he registered the words, a sly grin played upon his velveteen maw. She seemed to have a fiery attitude, showing everyone and everything that she was strong, needing no assistance in much. Many mares nowadays have that personality, tough on the outside, but tender on the inside. Only few really sported that bad girl expression with really being it.And that is the kind of girl BonFire highly enjoys. The rough and ragged girl, who knows how to protect herself in any form, without having that soft side within. He found it quite difficult to find that sort of mare, without breaking their hearts along the way. But to him, he only cared for a few moments if he broke a heart, then his life went on.
He stood silent for a moment, maple orbs drifting from the Maiden in front of him, to the large open plains around him. He shifted his weight onto his other flint, casually propping that one up instead. It may look as though he is purposely ignoring you, but in truth, the Brute was thinking; thinking of what to say in response. Although most would say their name flat out, he took time to think about what would happen. Most times when a mare and stallion talk, they end up falling to deep love, and one of them is king or queen, crowing the other their mate, only to end up ignored and possibly de-throned. As much of a cold heart BonFire seemed to have, he hated seeing that happen, so that is why he only chooses a Queen, if he really feels an electrical connection between them. He would never crown the first equine he sees Queen, knowing them for a matter of minutes, false hope, is what he prefers to call it.
But of course, don't fret, most find him slightly unbearable anyways.
BonFire took another sigh, his optics now locking onto her. His perfect sentence was formed, and ready to speak.
Interesting He grunted, his voice flowing into the damp air, optics still locked on her. Inspecting the Fem closer, he noticed an enchanting red base to her coal bathed coat. It was almost as if the devil coursed through her veins, creating a ghastly red glow to her bodice.
Your coat is an odd coloring His words would seem rude to the unknown, to the normal. Almost as if he was criticizing you. But for him, he was showing some interest. He tried hard to be nice, but with him all you could expect was an oddly placed wording.

Saren walked with carefully placed steps. She had no interest in going and finding the ruler of this land. She simply wanted to slip by unnoticed. This she was good at. She kept her head low to the ground and stayed in the deepest shadows. You would only know that she was slinking by was by scent. Unfortunatley for her the wind shifted blowing her scent towards the horses. She grumbled at the wind. Why did it have to blow. She figured the horses would find her eventually so she lifted her head up nad started to move faster. She was hoping they wouldn't come looking for her. Saren steped out of the shadows and into a pool of light. The light reflected off of her midnight black coat and highlighted the star on her forehead. To anyone who never met her before she looked like a nice lady. But to anyone who have had the misfortune to meet her, they know the difference. Her brown eyes burned with the fire of hate for her past. All horses must be like them, she always thought. No one has proven her wrong, yet.

B O N F I R E The damp air began to turn cold, gentle mist slowly began to fall and created a thin sheet like covering over the horizon. The sky turned to another shade of silver grey, and it all seemed taunt the Mascu once again. His gaze shifted to the sky once again, sealing his icy orbs, he seemed to soak in the comforting mist. But something caught his attention, as another aroma wavered up his nares. He lowered his crest, and through maple orbs, scanned the realm with a hint of annoyance.
Even through the now thickening mist, he could carefully make out a fine frame of yet another equine. He rose his fiery crest and took in the scent of the equine.Another mare. With a cold expression pasted on his maw and a roll of his orbs, the Stag swiveled back to face the other Maiden.
Excuse me, I must go off and speak with another intruder He hissed the last word, as he turned his mass towards the silhouette.
His slender pillars took him gracefully, and most importantly, quietly across the damp grass. He winced as the tall stalks brushed against his belly. This was the section of his land that he hadn't yet explored, for many interruptions delayed him from examining. It was quite beautiful. An untouched piece of heaven. He halted for a quick moment, his gaze drifting from place to place. And at once, a large partridge burst out of hiding, the wing beats sounding like a drums steady rhythm. The flowers seemed to dance with the easy wind, their color more vibrant. Many birds fluttered about, carefree about anything. Harm seemed far off, almost as if it didn't even exist. But the Mascu had work to do, and horses to meet. There wasn't time for fantasizing.
BonFire soon inched closer towards the Fae, from this distance he could see she wore a coal bathed hide, almost identical to the other Fem's coat, except for it wasn't tinted with the "devils red" coloring, as our lad so puts it. Clearing his throat, loud enough for the Fae to hear, hoping for her to halt and turn towards him. He didn't take any chances, so he increased his speed and matched her stride, but at the same time, slowly moving ahead of her.
Not much of a sleuth BonFire spat, spinning on a dime and blocking her path. You knew I was here, but yet the little devil still sneaked by His words were stern, matching the glare he gave to her. I am not a fool Missus, so don't play games with me.. He broke off slightly, a smirk building upon his kissers Because you will always lose

She wached him as he talked, a strong lrical voice, maple ears never still. About to answer to his strange question she scented it, another mare. As he told her that he would go after this intuder she realized yet another thing, he was alone. A king with no herd, no beings to rule.
Tsking s few trotting steps i broke into a waltz, as most would know it a canter, ging towards the pair to see what would happen. Optics not exactly trained upon the there liquid grey coloring took in the scene before her. Droplets hund upong gras, softening the tips running against er stomach. Thee strong wind whipped back her main as she flew, as if wings sohuld be at her sides, towards the pair. Catching up to them she waited a few feet away.
Swivveling auds caught the last few words. I should keep that in ind, she tought knowing that she should start this 'relationship' straight off. She settled down to watch and wait her turn.

Saren looked at the firey chesnut stallion who had approached her. As she listened to hsi last words, anger flared in her. Always lose. Yeah right. Saren stop abrubtly and glared at the stallion. I didnt think there was a rule, that a passing mare had to stop and be friendly. She spat the word friendly at the stallion. I had no intention of playing games with you. I don't play games with anyone.Saren spoke loud, letting her fire smolder into his eyes. Saren stepped by him without another word. She did not have to explain anything to him. Even if he was the ruling king here. It was then she noticed the other mare. Typical she thought. A mare who would follow around this stallion and say what he wanted to hear. The mare must be mindless.Saren shook her dark mane and starting walking.

There was somethingRaven could not stand peope wiht no mamers, moving forward she cut the mare off again. "I understand you ar epassing through a land" she snarled voice coming from the depths of her chest, a growl, like wolf sound. "But there is one thing even i have known since a VERY young age,Miss. It's something called MANNERS. And if you are passing through someones territory and they confront you you shoud no spit at there face." She pineed her ears at the black mare disgust across her feautures, for truly she did despise rideness.
"And do not even thik for a moment i am doing this for good points from the gentle mand over there for i to was apssing through but instead of insulting people when i meet them i TALK to them." Stepping away from the mare to let her pass she returned to her position a distance aaway, not wishing to interfere any longer. Her eyes two icy pools of gray taking a deep breath she calmed slowly waiting to see wha this dispicable creature would do next for already she was low in Raven's standings.

Saren stopped and watched the mare yell at her. Who are you to yell at ME for manners! I highly doubt that any of this involves you. Do you just randomly go up to horses and start yelling at them about manners in their face?! Sarens front legs were shaking in anger. This mare knew nothing about her.Saren started walking again. The mare knew nothing about her past, why she hated all others. She knew that they were all the same. All cruel, all evil.

B O N F I R E The Mascu cracked open his maw to give a fine talking to the Fae with the sharp tongue, but as he did, Raven began to fire bullets towards her direction. His slender audits pricked, his expression carrying a surprised look. Just watching them, made a slight tingle rush up his spine. Their eyes burning with anger, their words sharp as a knife. It was a cat fight, but he continued to stand silent and watch where this would go.
It amazed him their points of view on trudging into someones land. He preferred no one coming into his land without invite, but he felt an urge to stay back; this was not a fight for him.
He stood quietly for a few more moments, almost acting as if he was an invisible ghost. His silky plume flicked in quick, fast motions, clearing showing his growing annoyance. Before, his expression showed surprise and excitement, now it showed anger. It made his chest tight, listening to their heated discussion. His icy maple orbs switched from Raven, to the other, his lobes catching every sly word they let loose. And all at once, he felt it was enough.
Ladies, stop! His tones roared, echoing into the wind. His orbs now burning with rage like the others. This is enough, now if you don't stop, I will have to get much more ugly than I already am Bonfire's breathing became heavy, as he blocked their view to each other. He hated the sound of fighting, especially the little cat fights mares usually got into.
He gave an icy glare at both of them, showing he was not one to mess with. And it showed. His well chiseled muscles glistened under the dimming sunlight, and his size was slightly intimidating to most. A large scar ran across his hide, showing the fights he managed to get in to.
BonFire began to circle around them, cooling off his burning body, and un twisting his insides. Rolling his eyes, he made a decision.
Now you both might as well stay here with me He snickered a bit, before continuing I don't imagine you have anywhere else you need to be, am I correct? His voice was sharp, as if taunting them. Go if you wish, but I am most likely your best bet

Saren watched as the stallion became more and more irritated. It amused her. Very few stallions became angry at mares for fighting. Without realizing it she was laughing out loud. She must sound like a horse gone crazy to them. She tried to hold back her snickeres, but they erupted from her.She stood shaking with laughter, until finnally it died down. She returned her face to her regular hatred. Laughs from her were short and rare. Her thoughts returned to what the stallion said. Hah. She snorted in her mind. That mindless wimp of a mare will probably stay, but luckily Saren had a mind of her own.She didn't even look at the stallion, when she sturned and started off the way she had come. She knew that path, unlike the direction she was going. Maybe she would go around the terra. Or maybe she would stay to the outer edges of the terra, weaving so that none could catch her scent. She shook out her mane, then was on her way.

She watched the other run, with a slight gracefull manner away and the turned back to Bonfire, Lookng at his mad form she let out a slight amile upon her maw. He was gorgeous when angry. "If do chose to stay there is one thing i must know,What is your name?"
She looked at him thinking it must have something to do with his coat, his name that was. "And i am sorry about the fight, I do not mean to suck up, but since a young fae i was raised in a family steeped with manners, well at least to those of our rak. And it has bean beaten into me." her voice was like soft bells on a spring evening yet one coud tell just frommher tone that she was not a nice soul to run into.
Looking into the sky she let the sun play over her skin, sctions ablaze with a fiery beauty. Strange for her kind she adored the sun, at least when it played over her coat like this. It changed her form a black to fire, Each red hair magnified by untold amounts. Turning her attention back to the Stud she watched him waiting for a response.

B O N F I R E The skyline began to turn a beautiful peachy color, outlined with a citrus orange. The realm began to quiet down, and crickets began playing with the thought of when to start their symphony. The stars would soon blanket the deep blue canvas that would soon swallow up the other colors, making it a usual peaceful night. But BonFire didn't think it would be peaceful as it normally was, all by himself.
He grunted slightly, thinking about the two mares. I don't really care for company, but yet I want a large herd... It did make sense to him, and probably wouldn't to anyone else. But he was odd like that, and the world would have to get accompanied to it.
His weary globes lingered off into the horizon, where the feisty charcoal colored Huntress bolted off, her temper still burning after her uncalled for intrudence. He thought about if she would ever fit into a home with her fearless mind. He began to toss his dial, ridding his mind of those nasty thoughts of his.
BonFires thoughts were broken as an awkward feeling tingled over his hide. Confused orbs drifted to the remaining Faes glistening bodice, the nightly glow beamed off her pelt, sending the deep red base glimmering through the black. Her plush inlet opened, feminine lyrics flowing into the air. She was telling him how she was raised, manners being pummeled into her. He gave a sly smirk once again, a look he was known for, At least I won't have to deal with a nasty soul His snicker echoed into the air, as he gave a glare towards her.
That is good miss, I won't have to deal with a wench He gave a sly smile again. But then he pricked his fiery lobes again, catching every single one of her next words, the grin falling into a serious look. A request for my name... He began to slowly stride away, exaggerating his steps, dragging them across the ground, uprooting a few blades of grass. I suppose He swiveled around to face her, expression quite serious, as he never really told anyone something personal. He cleared his throat, and let his tones flow forth.
