ERIS. The poison apple. [+] What I've got [-] What I lack
The seven deadly sins;
+ Lust + Gluttony + Greed + Sloth + Wrath + Envy + Pride
The seven saving virtues;
- Chastity - Temperance - Charity - Diligence - Patience - Kindness - Humility
Thou art the only one there, mistress Eris, for though there is one of you, there is two shadows that follow you: one that is your own, the one you cannot see in the low light of dusk fading night, and another. The only hallucination you've seen since the death of your mother, not long ago? Indeed. The Shadow, you're insanity and protection, dear Eris, thou art insane.
Eris glowed in the moonlight, moving with silence and grace like a wraith; Eris could've been thought dead. Of course, many thought she was, as Eris was on death row when just a young maiden. For the hallucinations brought Eris a calamatic aura, and the schizophrenic mistress she now is was presumed dead long ago.
Eris's audacious bodice rippled with fluid steps as her lilac pistons drove her deeper toward the Falls, the Shadow following, slipping through the trees and darting in and out of sight. Eris no longer feared the shadow, or the hallucinations, but she reacted to them as if they were real. Manic bursts of laughter often erupted from her windpipe, often she stopped to look at things that weren't there. Eris was insane, but she wanted the world.
Sinner mistress knew a stallion was here, for her hallucinations only effected sight and hearing. She could not smell the Shadow, or the bleeding mare she saw in the fields her mother had first escaped with her to; but she could see them, hear them, and she had to feel everything that Eris thought was a hallucination to determine mentality form reality.
Thoughts of lust, gluttony and greed, all a'raced through the damsel's messed up mind as she thought of the fun that awaited her. Lust, Eris had always found that the sweetest of sin, though a foal she would not carry; Eris was infertile, and would never carry a foal. Greed, as she wanted the world, the Queenship, the stallion, all to her own. Gluttony, for everything she saw would be hers.
Emotions. Deceiving as the layers of hell. All they a'raced through once then retreated to arise later, when Eris was weak and off guard, to overwhelm her again but never humiliate her, as the virtues to heaven were lost to the demoness, her ticket to hell gained and harden her once more.
Tassels and whipcords of audacity, ebon, and ash entwined to the lilac tips traced to the lengthy ends. Dapples, so tiny and unnoticed, of red from the dappling of the sun through the forest canopies flecked the certain areas of her curtains, which swished around her and flicked passed the ground - in the case of her tail, energetic, rippling, feathery. Eris was insanity. Walking insanity.
The ripple and babble of the rivers tumbling thin off the edge of smooth and weathered rocks became louder, but never more a trickle unless great gushing through the swollen river had never thinned to after it tumbled into falls, and amber eyes of Eris's scanned the tops to a blazing masculine shone faintly in the moonlight, for only a pelt like Eris's could blaze so in the light. Should he be a hallucination? Eris could not tell. But her flared senses caught the scent that blew off him in the river-cool breeze and the stallion that stood there be a true thing, living, breathing reality.

A shot of adrenaline went down the studs spine, swift and as fast as a bullet he galloped around keeping himself low to the ground trying to pic up a scent. His muscular legs jolted to a stop, Mare? his skull snapped up and he took a deep breath.
Slowly the stud made his way towards the small figure in the distance, his left eye twitched its grey color seemed white in moonlight. The sound of a bat far in the distance boomed in his ear. Slowly he stopped 6 feet from this mare.

ERIS. The poison apple. A brilliantly radiant elliptical beams down upon the polished stage, mother love, lady Luna in all her glory has blazed a beautiful oval scar into the earth as our talented actress appears; illustrious onstage. It's obvious that she is comfortable beneath the piping spotlight, standing almost lazily as she reflects an air of unparalleled splendor and easy sex appeal. It's at the moment that she looks so delicious to the audience that the darkened figure arrives; resembling the very essence of death in it's corpse-like state. Now that the setting has been rigged with this false sense of intensity, the spectators expect a marvelous scene of certain ruin, or at the very least they hope that the girl before them will lose her pure, slow and sweet smile, but the naive grin is never replaced as the corpse draws nearer.
But then the dead being behind the svelte vixen sways in a rippling manner as a wind would pass over still water. Alone on the stage with an ominous shadow that has frozen bent over the crystalline minx, the mistress turns her arched boa to find the corpse in its ragged, matted state and it is at that moment the brilliant elliptical beam falls upon that of the two with the sick, deathly conscience, illuminating the sleek damsel to a momentary blaze of breathtaking silver hue, to reveal a masculine of nearly nigrescent pelt and a mane and tail of whipping, wild fire. As the beam exposed the features of the phantom shadow, the frozen behemoth flickered and blurred out of sight.
Eris froze. The hallucination, the imagery and the sound of an aching symphony still falters in her memory as the stage that shone like a mirror, the elliptical, piping spotlight that illuminated whatever it touched with its golden rays, and the brute of shadow that rippled and froze as she tuned to look at it, with his mane and tail of orange flame, faded into the reality of Twilight Falls that surrounded the moonlit fatale and made Eris's stomach clench, feeling so trapped within the open walls of the world as the hallucination sunk into her realization of what was happening there.
Eris couldn't shake the meaning of the hallucination that frightened her a little too deeply in the sickest of ways, no matter how hard she fought to wedge the nail that had been hammered there out of her head. It made far too much sense and was too realistic, to the point that it felt it predicted the future, but Eris knew she would never be made a sex doll, given to anyone who would pay a handsome price for her, for the easy appeal, unquenchable lust and explosion of guilty pleasure that explained the hallucination's whole, but as Eris found herself thinking of lust the thoughts of evil sin crept back into her head and the ivory seductress found a wicked smile curling up the edges of her hueless velveteen.
Golden lenses, smooth amber stones that offset a carved visage flicker, drinking in the scenery with a general aura of distaste. The topography is too immaculate for Eris's taste, too untarnished and terribly well-kept. Where was the worn, wild feel that should come with a terrain of the untamed turfs, that actually gave it the look of being lived in? Compared to the endless expanse of field and mountainous, rocky regions where Eris had thrived, it was like building a pawn shop next to an IKEA, something filthy, something foul, beside an element in its purest form. Vexing to a movement within the pristine, trickling falls, Eris's satin-silk pelt becomes a'crinkle of wrinkles and creases as the shudders to the touch of water, which she hadn't felt before, only to her muzzle.
The water appeared a liquid starshine as the ivory demoness glided as a wraith through the water, her step as fluid as the water itself. The pool that the falls tumbled into was surprisingly shallow, the pool's below of smooth and round pebbles, all weathered from the uncountable seasons under the water that forms around it. A sheet of silver flowed solidly until Eris walked under it, splitting it uneven as it hit and ran over her bodice. Eris swung herself around to the right in one graceful movement, stretching up her serpentine and tipping her regally-held visage back at the slightest angle, letting the water run off her poll and mask.
Not even Eris knew how much time had passed, but she stood without a hallucination flickering bright behind her eyelids. But the sound of another and the odor that Eris inhaled through flared nares caught her attention, and Eris's dial, which had been stretching high and low as the starshine washed over her, rose to normal height and her lids opened to reveal her amber optics. She stood, watching the hellion there, as the water flowed over her, silver in the moon's brilliant presence. Eris was not completely sure if she should speak first or not - she had never spoken to any real brute before, only her sire, who had hated her and never said much to her anyway. Eris looked the behemoth over, finding him physically sound, although he was scarred over his eye, which was discolored - such a flaw would direct at a single- eyed blindness in the bronc.

Saren weaved in and out of the bored of the new stallions terratory. She could smell him. She kept upwind for him not to smell her.She flicked her ears to search for anything approaching. She stopped suddenly, and pricked her ears toward the trees to the right side of her. She didn't see anything. But she was still weary, but she had to keep traveleing this way,or risk being discovered by this stallion. Better discovered than dead. She started towards the stallion, and her senses picked up. A mare? Yes a mare. She sighed. When she was a good distance away from the trees she started in her previous direction again. Maybe they hadn't smelt her. But now she was in plain sight. She sighed and leaned her head down. She might as well test things.aybe there was a kind soul on this earth. She started forward at a weary pace. The wind blew her scent towards the pair. She would defiantly be discovered now. Oh well. She lifted her head. The bright midday sun made her midnight coat sparkle, and highlighted the white star on her forehead. She made her deep brown eyes friendly. She stopped a short distance away, not wanting to interrupt anything that the two had been speaking of.

The studs flicked his ears, A new scent...Another mare? He saw her out of the corner of his good eye. He sighed, Mam, what are you doing on my land.... He asked both of them, his tail flicked in the wind.
Still on high alert he took a step forward and turned to look at the other mare. She was as Black as night, and this mare infront of him was..a creamy color. He shook his mane before his nostrils flared looking for any new scents.

Saren looked up when the stallion spoke to both of them. She was wary of the other mare, and almost immediantly took a disliking to her. She looked at the stallion not knowing what to say. Why was she here? My name is Saren, and I was on my way through your lands. When the words flowed from her mouth,Saren gasped in shock. Noone besides her mother has ever known her name. She never told anyone. She lowered her head in embarassment. Then she snapped it up again, remebering she was not alone. She locked eyes with the other mare, and felt dread. What was it about this mare that made Saren hate her so?

Saren, nice name... now what about the other... The thought skimmed through his mind before he nodded, Pleasure to meet you, Saren, I'm Doc. He smiled kindly before he gazed a the cream colored mare... And you are? A chuckle at random escaped his rough kisser, sending his muscles rippling through his coat.

Saren smiled. Then her face returned to her usual un emotional mask. But her face had a hint of a smaile in it. Noone has ever been able to do that before. Is there somthing weird ro new about Doc Hoilday? Saren intended to find out.
Even in it meant staying here for a while. Saren was never a horse for staying in one place, but Doc seemed nice and she wanted to find out if she could live in a herd.Maybe even find love have a foal?
Saren shook he3r head,to empty them of such thoughts. Yes she would stay if asked, but, love? A foal? When did those thoughts enter her mind. She was becoming mindless. No. Hse would never become ,mindless. A stallion would have to work for the right to be her friend.
Friend. The word seemed foregin sunding in her mind. She had never had a freind. Well then maybe its time she starts to have one. She rested her dark eyes on the other mare and waited for her response.

A breeze that would've ruffled the the beings of others didn't ruffle Eris's. The silver sheet plastered her coverage down, though the breeze did chill her somewhat, and Eris swung herself to the right again and moved through the shallow pool to the shore. Her faintly hued draw darkened to htun where the water had touched it, deeper than scarlet, more serene than cerulean, grayer than yellow. Lilac limbs were a darkened purple, her audacious curtains wet yet unchanged in its hues. Slowly Eris came to stand before the stallion there, when the breeze registered a wench in the distance, where Eris couldn't yet see with her own amber eyes.
Silence for a few moments between the renewed trinity before the negriscent femmora came to stand with them. The charcoal stallion sighed before speaking baritone lyrics. "Ma'am, what are you doing on my lands?" he asked the both of them. Eris spoke after a moment, after the ebonite wench. "I have no place to stay. I am here for a living arrangement." Eris's voice was smooth as oiled silk, but had a terse tone to it. That's how Eris spoke. The mare who spoke before her had announced, "My name is Saren, and I was on my way through your lands." Even though it had been a rude thought, Eris could only find herself thinking that was the most obvious answer there was. Of course, Eris's statement had been bland as well.
Saren, the Negro brutess, locked gazes with Eris and Eris held it until the brute spoke again. He nodded to Saren, before his lyrics laced the air in response. "Pleasure to meet you, Saren, I'm Doc." The hellion - Doc - smiled kindly at Saren in a way that, to Eris, spoke of fondness. Eris could care less. "And you are?" Doc said to Eris when he turned to look at her. "Eris." she answered, smooth yet terse as she always spoke. He chuckled randomly, and Eris thought of the bursts of laughter that often erupted from her windpipe. The goddess of chaos, that created insanity in the world. That is who I am, Doc. Eris thought, her eyes tensing. The behemoth would never allow her in his kingdom if he knew of the hallucinations that drove Eris insane and calamatic. He would have to gamble to keep the positive sides that Eris had in his resources. It was a gambit on everything. But Eris had nowhere else to go.
Eris watched as the rising lovebirds shared their smiles as Eris stood like the heartbroken one as she dreaded the future. Having to follow, forced to breed, while Saren and Doc split their hearts for each other. Sounds a little futuristic, Eris dreading being forced and Saren and Doc upon the thrones. Eris wasn't sure if that would happen, but the way they looked at each other, Eris read the signs saying love was blooming far to soon.
Eris breathed a silent groan. It wasn't that she hated Saren or loved Doc - they were both neutral on Eris's scale - but love was something that Eris found retching unless she loved one and the other loved her in return. Her hallucinations of forcebreeding a mare that could never carry drew Eris further away from the thoughts of affection. But that's for the future, in which Eris couldn't see.

Saren stood and listened to the others faes gentle words. Eris she had said.Saren ahd no idea what to do. Should she leave them and let them be happy. It was most likely that they would end up together,so why should she stay and make things complicated? But maybe she should stay, just to see if she could be in a herd? It was most likely that the stallion will ask them both to stay. Every stallion did.
Saren stood comtemplating what she should do. Run? Stay? Talk about something unimportant? Being so unsociable was a curse sometimes.Saren was still wary of the other horses and still kept her distance. She didn't know when or where someone might turn on here. Well, that may never happen, but SArens Paranoya has kept her alive al these years.

Doc smiled at both of them. He really didn't feel like chatting so he made it quick. You are both welcome. He nodded before trotting up to a hill. He put his skull to the earth and ate.

Saren knew what Doc was goign to say before he said it but she did not expect him to walk away. What was with this stallion?Mayb she would stay, just to try to figure him out. She looked over at Eris. would the other fae stay also? Saren didn't mind if she did. Eris and Doc would probably fall in love and then Eris would be lead mare, while al of this happens Saren would lip away unnoticed.
thats how it should be. Thats how it aways has been. She looked up the hill to where Doc was. then decided she would speak with him when he returned down. She leaned down and started nibiling on the green grass.

Doc sighed. The black mare was eating grass we'll the white stood and thought about staying. He felt a shiver creep its way done his spine. Slowly he walked back down and stood in front of the mares.

Saren looked up at Doc.She smiled wistfully then lifted her head gracefully.i think,I have decided to stay. she spoke softly and quietly. If thats alright with you. She added quickly. She loked over at the other mare,Eris. Would she stay also?
Saren knew that one day se would dissapear and be gone forever. But Doc would not be sad. She would make sure of that. He would be happy with Eris. then they would have foals, and he would build up his herd. That is how a horses lie should be,happy and peaceful, full of other horses. Maybe saren just had a glitch in her barin for wanting to be alone.

As Doc smiled at the two of them, Saren and Eris, the feelings of fondness between the nigrescent brutess and the charcoal brute was level yet still in the fear factor of what might happen if Saren was a commanding Queen. Eris wouldn't be able to stand it, she was just too independent in ways like such that a Queen that bossed her subjects around like Queens did was as wrenching to Eris as going against one's religion. Eris didn't have her mind set on being Queen, even being loved. Eris cared not for both. The Queen she wanted to rule beside Doc would be a powerful one, yes, but not forceful to her commoners. Eris would've included affection to Doc, but Eris decided she cared not. Eris wanted merely acceptance into the kingdom of Doc's, despite her insanity. Eris wanted to be respected not as a lunatic or as a sex doll. Eris wanted to be respected as a wench like any other. What more respect would be due to a wench like any other? It was what Eris was.
Doc turned and trotted up the hillside, and bending low his arch to graze at the jade stalks that billowed over this terrain of his. Eris thought a moment, wondering if she should stay with Saren and Doc or not. Of course, she had to. The only Northern kingdom so far, no other place for Eris to go. Eris couldn't last on her own, even a short while in a realm where the grass was green and plentiful and the river ran constantly. The hallucinations would kill Eris - and being murdered by hallucinations is equal to suicide - unintentional, but suicide.
Doc came down the slope once more, and as he did, Saren lifted her crania and spoke. So, Saren has decided to stay. Eris had decided as well, she would be staying as well. After Saren spoke, Eris nodded her own agreement. "I as well have decided to stay." Only a fool would turn down such an offer, Eris continued in her head, and Eris knew that it may be offending, Eris wouldn't know how, to say it aloud. Eris shook herself quickly, small, rapid twitches over her muscles to rid herself of some pesky drops of water that landed only inches away. How humiliating it would be to splatter Saren and Doc in water, though know humility would've passed her emotions. Still, one should be respectful to their King.
